Business Name: Gypsy Soul + Gypsy Soul Keynote Concerts
Gypsy Soul is the musical partnership of Cilette Swann and Roman Morykit, whose story began when two musicians from different parts of the world met in Edinburgh, Scotland, fell in love, and began writing songs together.
British-born Roman is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer; Canadian-born Cilette is a singer and lyricist with a nearly four-octave range. After marrying and moving to Los Angeles, they created Gypsy Soul and chose an independent path long before “indie artist” became part of the musical mainstream.
“Gypsy Soul is one of the most brilliantly instrumented and vocally adept bands alive and kicking.” — OC Weekly
Nearly three decades later, Gypsy Soul has released 15 independently produced, award-winning albums, earned more than 1.6 million downloads, scored a Top 40 Adult Contemporary hit, and received critical recognition from more than 75 national publications. Their songs have also been featured in dozens of television shows and motion picture films.
Today, Cilette and Roman perform public and private concerts as well as their distinctive Keynote Concerts, blending live music, storytelling, humor and meaningful takeaways for conferences, organizations and special events.
Their newest chapter, Gypsy Soul Signature Journeys, brings that same spirit of music, community and connection beyond the stage and into shared travel experiences — including their 30th Anniversary Holland America Alaska Cruise in August 2027. For cruise information, contact Cilette.
